Der Flyweight King bleibt auf seinem Thron

Pantoja shows Asakura the class difference
Alexandre Pantoja remains Flyweight Champion, and how! The Brazilian delivered a flawless performance and revealed a class difference.
The champion started the fight aggressively, immediately looking to trade blows with Asakura. He hit the newcomer hard in the first round and showed himself ready to trade blows extensively in the first two rounds before grabbing Asakura's back in the second round and taking him to the mat. From there, Pantoja applied a chokehold and secured the victory by submission.
This is the Brazilian's third consecutive successful title defense and arguably his most impressive performance in the Octagon to date. The American Top Team representative remains in a league of his own in the 125-pound weight class and enters next year with an impressive seven-fight winning streak.
Shavkat remains undefeated
Erster Decision Sieg für den 19-0 Title Contender Rakhmonov
In the co-main event, Shavkat Rakhmonov defeated Ian Machado Garry by unanimous decision (48-47, 48-47, 48-47). Before this fight, the two opponents' combined record was 33-0, a new UFC record.
In the first two rounds, Rakhmonov and Machado Garry were almost evenly matched, but Rakhmonov landed the harder shots. Garry had a good third round, but Shavkat turned things around in the fourth. Things heated up again in the final round. Garry, outnumbered on the scorecards, attempted a rear-naked choke, but Rakhmonov defended and took control.
In the end, Rakhmonov won by unanimous decision and remains undefeated at 19-0, keeping him in the running for a title shot against Belal Muhammad.
Garry, on the other hand, suffered his first UFC loss. However, he put his undefeated record on the line against the "Most Dangerous Guy" in the welterweight division and delivered a top-notch performance that continues to position him for the top of this weight class.

The rest of the main card saw victories for Ciryl Gane (split decision against Alexander Volkov), Bryce Mitchell and Dooho Choi (both KO).
UFC 310 also featured a top-notch lineup with big names in the prelims. Among them were Movsar Evloev against Aljamain Sterling, Dominick Reyes against Anthony Smith, and Vincente Luque against newcomer Themba Gorimbo. Bonuses of $50,000 went to Pantoja, Luque, Hooper, and Nzechukwu.
What happens next?
Little changes for Alexandre Pantoja, he remains the dominant force at the top of the flyweight division.
With his victory, Shavkat Rakhmonov has recommended himself for a title shot against champion Belal Muhammad and will receive this as his next fight.
Things are looking similarly good for Ciryl Gane in the heavyweight division and Movsar Evloev in the featherweight division.
While the Frenchman still has to wait for the Jones vs Aspinall fight, the Russian can hope for an early clash with Ilia Topuria.
