UFC London

Review

The results of the card in London

Brady shocks Edwards

and silences all of London

Sean Brady took down the number one welterweight contender in London – and did it with style. Against Leon "Rocky" Edwards, who was actually eyeing his next title shot, Brady secured the victory via guillotine choke in round 4. The challenger from Philadelphia was dominant throughout the fight, winning the first three rounds on all scorecards and ultimately forcing the former champ to submit.

Particularly bitter for Edwards: It was the first submission loss of his entire UFC career. "Rocky" put in a disappointing performance and needs to get back on track as quickly as possible. Brady? He might be eyeing a title shot now. And honestly, after this performance, he deserves it.

Carlos Ulberg punktet sich an Błachowicz vorbei

Justin Gaethje delivers again

In the light heavyweight division, New Zealander Carlos Ulberg faced former champion Jan Błachowicz, who was back in the octagon after injury problems.

Ulberg impressed with his clean striking, good footwork, and defensive cleverness. In a close duel that definitely could have ended differently, he defeated veteran Jan Błachowicz by unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28).

With this victory, Ulberg extends his streak further – a challenge against the top 5 is now only a matter of time. Błachowicz put in a good performance and will continue to be represented among the LHW elite.

Kevin "Trailblazer" Holland once again demonstrated his versatility, keeping Gunnar Nelson at bay, controlling the pace, and securing a clear points victory. He also received a $50,000 bonus from the UFC—because, after all, it was a show.

Chris Duncan took full advantage of his grappling strength, securing a guillotine choke victory in round 2 and making a statement in the lightweight division. Nathaniel Wood also delivered a near-perfect performance, dominating Morgan "The Last Pirate" Charrière in all three rounds and claiming a clear UD victory (30-27 x3). Clean, technical, and convincing!

The 50k performance bonuses went to Sean Brady, Kevin Holland, Alexia Thainara and Shauna Bannon for their strong performances and finishes at UFC London.

Finally, a big thank you again to the UFC for the opportunity to attend a UFC event live and in person for the first time!
