In the main event, Alexander Volkanovski secured the vacant featherweight title. The Australian dominated Diego Lopes for long stretches and was undeterred by a strong fourth round from the challenger. Overall, spectators in Miami witnessed an extremely fast-paced fight, with both opponents having to be alert at all times to avoid falling into a trap.
Volkanovski used his experience and technical superiority to repeatedly keep Lopes at bay. After five rounds, the verdict was clear: a unanimous decision victory (48-47, 49-46, 49-46) for "Alexander the Great," who thus became only the second fighter after José Aldo to become a two-time UFC featherweight champion.

The Liverpool native dominated Michael Chandler both standing and on the ground. After landing the better strikes and controlling Chandler in the first two rounds, Pimblett landed the decisive blow in the third: A flying knee opened the gap, and "Paddy the Baddy" ended the fight with a ground-and-pound TKO at 3:07.
With this victory, Pimblett moves into the top 10 of the lightweight rankings – a huge step in his career.

Dominick Reyes setzte seine Renaissance fort. Gegen Nikita Krylov landete er früh einen krachenden linken Konter, der seinen Gegner nach nur 2:24 Minuten in Runde eins knockoutete. Reyes feiert damit seinen dritten Sieg in Folge und ist auf dem besten Weg zurück in die Top 10 des Halbschwergewichts.
